Sponsors: Only register students for the State Competition if they were first or second place winners at your regional fair (except for Team Programming where only the first place winners move onto the state competition).
Registration Instructions for Sponsors/Teachers:
1. Register yourself as a Sponsor
2. Register each of your students
3. Register the projects of your students
4. Print out the invoice and send in payment
If you know anyone who would like to judge the competition, either regional or state, have them contact me, Dr. Tom Lucy-Bouler for the State fair or the regional representative for that regions fair.

INTRODUCTION
The Alabama Council for Technology in Education (ACTE) is the sponsoring organization for the Alabama Technology in Education Fairs. These fairs are held on an annual basis at regional and state levels.
The Alabama Technology in Education Fairs are made possible through the efforts of the members of ACTE and teachers throughout the state. Funding is provided by ACTE to support the state fair and to help with the regional fairs.
The fairs are organized for the purpose of enhancing the use of technology in education in both public and private schools and to give students the opportunity to demonstrate how they are using technology in their schools. Students in grades 3-12 are encouraged to participate.

Fair
Please note that registration fees have increased for the State Fair. The cost for registration fee is $15.00 per participant and sponsoring teacher. Each sponsor registration comes with a complimentary year membership to ACTE.
Invoices are available online, and once you pay the online invoice will show a zero balance. Checks from the school or certified checks should be sent to the address on the invoice by Monday, April 16th.
April 24, 2009 (Friday)
Team programming will be held Friday, April 24th. Setup will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the Business Building
(Clement Hall). Come to room 206 to find out which room on
the second floor you will be using. The programming competition will begin
promptly at 3:30 p.m.
Students will be given two hours to complete the test questions.
Judging will follow immediately. Trophies will be given during the awards ceremony on Saturday.
April 25, 2009 (Saturday)
The Technology Fair will be held Saturday, April 25th at Auburn University
Montgomery in the Gymnasium (Physical Education Complex). Early set-up is at 7:00
